There is a story here. Many years ago, I went to work one weekend to meet some potential customers, only to find the workshop flooded, wood floating everywhere I looked. It was a bad time in my life anyway, and this could have been the final straw. The customers arrived, and waded in without a thought, rescuing everything for me before taking me home and drinking my whisky while they dried their socks. That is how lifetime friendships are made. Since then we have shared a lot more. This guitar was made for a graduation present for a daughter that wasn't born when this friendship started. Plus, yet another excuse to use a wood that might otherwise be a "wallflower" - nobody ever asking it to dance.

Isn't it great? There really is not any shortage of "tonewood" unless you want every guitar to look the same.
